  • Individual Psychotherapy & Coaching

This is where most of our work together will begin. Whether you are looking to heal from depression or anxiety, or gain structure and support to step towards specific goals, I use a combination of skills-based learning with deeper exploration and reflection. We’ll start by diving into who you are, where you’re coming from, and what you’re hoping for. Then we will create an outline and goals for treatment, such as to help you learn how to manage your emotions and behaviors in the day to day, as well as understand where those responses and reactions come from. You’ll gain empathy and compassion for your moods and behaviors, as well as learn techniques to move through them intentionally. You’ll learn how to communicate your emotions and needs, and how to trust yourself in making decisions.

  • EMDR Trauma Therapy

You do not have to allow your past to define you. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a well researched modality for treating trauma. It is beneficial and appropriate for all ages, and instrumental in moving through “stuck” emotions, memories, and symptoms. EMDR works by creating bilateral stimulation (activating both sides of your brain) in order to have a more comprehensive understanding of the situation rather than only focusing on the fears and triggers that your trauma brings up. It also incorporates somatic (body based) work, and allows space for as much or little verbal processing as you would like. Many clients come to EMDR after having done years of talk therapy with little improvement, and experience more relief and freedom than they knew was possible.

  • Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

KAP is an additional modality for treatment of symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as for intentions of spiritual growth. Psychedelic medicine can help you gain a greater depth and understanding of your consciousness and behaviors, as well as instill a sense of connection to self and others that may have previously been difficult to access. One of the most researched aspects of psychedelic therapy is how it helps to create “neuroplasticity,” meaning your brain is more open to neural pathways (thinking patterns and behaviors) that typically are less available to your conscious awareness. The brain likes to follow and strengthen the thinking pathways it knows. While this may make life more predictable (or even comfortable), it can also hinder growth and change. Psychedelics help the brain and body to more flexibly and creatively consider alternative ways of responding to emotions, relationships, and other problems you may be feeling bound by.
